DAYCAMP

Y Day Camp combines elements of traditional YMCA camping and licensed childcare. Ten weekly sessions will be offered this summer. Families can sign-up for one or all ten sessions. Participants will travel to parks, museums, and other fun field trips. Other activities include arts & crafts, overnights, baseball games, and trips to Camp Child. The YMCA gym will serve as the drop-off & pick-up site for Daycamp. Extended care will be offered to all participants from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., and 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. everyday at no charge (except on overnight trips, where evening care will be included in the overnight schedule).

The YMCA was the first organization to recognize the need for organized after school activities for youth. Trained YMCA staff leads small group activities, helping clarify values and encourage responsibility.

We offer a comfortable, stimulating environment for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Located in the gym at the Eastgate School in East Helena from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, our activities include arts and crafts, sports, science and sw3imming. We place emphasis on values and socialization.

We have two options for registration. You can enroll your child for part time care, which is 9 days or less per month or full time, which is 10 days or more per month. A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee required at time of registration. Monthly fees are as follows:

Members:

  • Full-time $140.00
  • Part-time $ 90.00
Program Participants:
  • Full-time $160.00
  • Part-time $110.00
Second Child Rate:
  • A $10.00 reduction will be applied for every second and preceding child.

Rates include School's Out days. These are days when classes aren't held and kids need a fun and safe environment while their parents are working. activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming, field trips, cooking and science.

School's Out Days are for youth in Kindergarten through 5th grade, starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. The upcoming School's Out Days are:

Oct. 20-21 Nov. 23 Dec. 27-30
Jan. 16 Feb.. 20 April 10-14
May 5    

Keep these date in mind when signing up for full time or part time care.

We also have Kids Nigh Out, an overnight adventure for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Drop off between 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday and pickup Sunday morning by 9:00 a.m. Activities include swimming, crafts, pillow fights and movies. An evening snack and breakfast are included. Upcoming dates are:
